Bali General
Regardless of the length of stay, the following vaccinations are recommended for Bali: DTP (diphtheria, tetanus, and polio) and hepatitis A (infectious jaundice). For stays longer than three months, vaccinations against typhoid fever, hepatitis B, and rabies are recommended. Please contact your doctor or the local health department for more information.
The rainy season in Bali runs from October to May. However, the temperature remains around 27 degrees Celsius throughout the year, so Bali can still be visited during the rainy season. You are more likely to experience rain than during the dry season, but often the rain is limited to short, heavy showers in the late afternoon and evening. During the day, the sun usually shines!
The best time to visit Bali is from June to September. Bali has a tropical climate with two seasons: a rainy season and a dry season. The months of June to September are the driest and sunniest months with the least chance of rain.
Bali is 5,780 square kilometers in size. This is approximately the same size as the province of North Brabant. The roads are less navigable, so it takes longer to travel certain distances. Keep this in mind when planning your trip!
Payment
All our prices are in Euros and include taxes and service charges, so there are no hidden costs. You may incur additional costs for international phone calls and for groceries that the staff buys to prepare your meals. You can also choose to do the grocery shopping and cooking yourself if you prefer. Finally, you may choose to tip the staff at the end of your vacation if you were satisfied with their service. This is greatly appreciated 🙂
Reservations
If you need to cancel, the following cancellation fees apply:
- Up to 6 weeks before the start of the rental period, a maximum of 50% of the rental price
- Within 6 weeks before the start of the rental period, the full rental price
We advise you to take out cancellation insurance.
The reservation request becomes a booking by making the first payment of 50% of the rental amount within 5 working days. The remaining amount must be paid no later than 6 weeks before arrival at the villa.
If payment is not made on time, we may terminate the agreement without refunding the advance payment.
If a booking is made within 6 weeks before the start of the rental period, the full rental amount must be paid in one go.
In most cases, it is possible to change a reservation after confirmation. If you want to change the dates, this will depend on current availability. Please contact info@balibungalowrent.com to see if your reservation can be changed.
